Supervalu’s Special Offers – Until 19th February

Supervalu’s not to be outdone on the special offers front, with Valentines offers of half price choccies, deals on wine and beer, and a nice Valentine’s breakfast of rashers, saussies, eggs & loaf for €5. Not quite a Lidl value brekkie, but getting there.

The dozen roses begin, interestingly, at €4, for a ‘sleeve’ – awhatnow? I realise I’m not exactly well versed in all things floral *casts dirty look at OH* but I never heard of this description – oh well, 12 roses for €4 is bloody good value, and almost matches Lidl and Dunnes! Ooh, and 33% off sirloin and fillet steaks if you’re going to be at the stove this Valentine’s eve.

The larder staple of onions are going very cheap – 79c per net, and mushrooms are just 59c a punnet – approaching Aldi special prices.

There are also meal deals for €7 and €5, not bad at all considering it’s frozen haddock, chips and mushy peas for the former and pasta, carbonara sauce and garlic bread for the latter.  Cheap family feed after a late night at the office.
